Opportunities await in Morocco

The Moroccan Mood

History is a bizarre thing. History is about who was who and what was what and when.

But history is so much more. History is memories. History is emotions.

Especially when talking about Morocco.

However, we don’t want to focus on history or ancient memories.

We want to focus on today’s Morocco and on its future.

A few years ago, King Mohammed VI implemented the basis of a new strategy embracing Moroccan tourism. Its main purpose was to increase the flow of tourism with the goal of having 10 million tourists by 2010, as set up in a special tourist contract-program called the Framework Agreement. Because of this agreement several special tourist zones were created to promote investment in this sector.

Thanks to careful planning these new tourist zones are meeting international standards in terms of services and equipment, something which is proven by the constantly increasing interest of investors and developers and the presence of more and more tourists.

There was a special relationship in the past and now, once again, Americans are showing increasing interest in Morocco.

When you visit places like Tangier, Casablanca (Humphrey Bogart anyone?) or Marrakech you will meet a surprisingly large number of compatriots who have bought themselves a property in Morocco.

Van Loon & Partners therefore only collaborates with highly professional and experienced Spanish and Moroccan consultants.
